CHENGLI / NIGERIA & GHANA
Quality Control
A practical quality-control and pre-shipment inspection checklist for special-purpose trucks ordered for Nigeria and Ghana.
Request a quote ↗Quality begins with a complete specification
A useful inspection compares the finished truck with the agreed order, not with a generic product photograph. Establish the chassis, body, capacities, equipment, accessories and documentation before production. Chengli Special Automobile Co., Ltd. has management-system certificates covering specified design, production and service activities; the certificate scope and status should be checked for the actual manufacturer and production site of the ordered vehicle.
Checks to agree for every vehicle
- Identity and dimensions: confirm the chassis and vehicle identifiers, wheelbase, overall dimensions, axle arrangement and body layout against the order.
- Weights and capacity: compare the stated tank or body capacity with the legal payload and axle loads for the proposed configuration.
- Build finish: inspect accessible welds, corrosion protection, fasteners, pipe and cable routing, guards, doors and service access.
- Function: demonstrate the controls, moving equipment, warning devices and the operating sequence that will be used in service.
- Handover: collect the agreed test results, operating information, parts list, warranty terms and shipment documents.
Application-specific inspection
Vacuum & water tanks
Agree checks for tank integrity, pipework, valves, pump operation, discharge arrangements and the stated usable capacity.
Lifting & recovery
Confirm rated loads and reach, stability provisions, hydraulic operation, controls and compatibility with the intended container or vehicle.
Refrigerated bodies
Review insulation and door seals, refrigeration-unit specification, temperature monitoring and the agreed performance test.
Make the acceptance process visible
For Nigeria or Ghana projects, decide who will review the vehicle before shipment and what evidence they need. The customer, an appointed inspector and the factory should use the same approved specification and test list. Record any deviation and its resolution before accepting the vehicle for dispatch. Local registration and destination conformity are separate checks; they should be confirmed with the relevant local advisers for the exact truck.
Read the factory overview and certificate and document guide before finalising an inspection scope.
