Agree commercial terms in writing

Ask for a quotation that names the chassis, body equipment, included accessories, currency, price basis, delivery point, estimated production time and validity period. No CIF price is published here until a current project quote has been checked.

Confirm the shipping plan

Discuss departure and destination ports, shipping method, insurance, inspection and document handover. Your freight forwarder and clearing agent should verify current charges and destination requirements.

Before payment

• Verify the seller identity and bank details through an independent channel
• Agree the payment milestones and contract
• Confirm the final specification and acceptance criteria
• Ask which shipment documents will be supplied
